Skin Care

We all know how important it is to use sunscreen on an everyday basis. And practically it’s not affordable for each one of us to invest in those high end and costly one’s. Being a student in my school & college days it was just not possible for me to save that extra money to invest in all of these products so I researched. And came to know about a fact that mostly all the brands no matter how luxurious they are actually made up of some basic ingredients which we can easily buy and are actually very affordable. Plus, these products will last you very long so you can just replenish your stock whenever needed. Or can also make a little earning by selling these hand made products which are free of any sulphates, parabens and mineral oils.

In no means, I say that I don’t advice you buying those market based products or they are not of good quality. It’s just that when you can save some bucks then why not? And if you interested in trying some amazing market based sunscreen then do check out some of my favourite one’s these are just amazing and does the job like a pro.

So without any further blabbering let’s get started.

That’s all, you need just these basic ingredients to make your favourite DIY SUNSCREEN AT HOME.

How to make it?

  1. All you need to do is just take your favourite moisturiser, it could be any one you like that just suits perfectly for skin type.
  2. Take a bowl and add the moisturiser into it. Now add 2tbsp. of aloe Vera gel to it. Generally, I keep the ratio equal 1:1 i.e. if I take 2tbsp. of moisturiser then 2tbsp. of Aloe Vera gel. As I am blessed with a normal skin type.

If you are of a dry skin family, then you can add more of moisturiser.

If you are from oily skin family, then you can reduce the amount of moisturiser and use more of gel based product or Aloe Vera Gel.

  • To this add the magical ingredient that is CALAMINE POWDER.

Now mix all of this thoroughly. And then transfer it into a storage container.

How and When to use it?

Just take some amount of sunscreen and apply it on your face whenever you head out of your home.

Apply it to all your exposed body parts & wait for 5-10mins before going out.
